THE TOWN

Treasure Cay was established in 1783 by American Loyalists from New York when they fled the Revolution.

This seaside, unspoiled community has grown in population over the years.  With 200 residents, Treasure Cay is a multi-cultural mix of Bahamians, Americans, Europeans & Canadians.

The Bahamian people are very friendly, and Treasure Cay is no exception to the hospitality you expect throughout the Bahamas.

Although Treasure Cay is a small town, it has all the amenities you need, including hotels, medical facilities, a library & museum, grocery & liquor stores, as well as international banks.

What Treasure Cay does NOT have is all the hustle and bustle of a big city.  Here there are no casinos & no worries; the pace is slow.

BOATING
Coming to Treasure Cay by boat couldn’t be easier, or more enjoyable.  Located approximately 190 nautical miles East of West Palm Beach, Florida, Treasure Cay is surrounded by crystal clear, turquoise waters teaming with marine life on the 4th largest reef system in the world.

Because of its shallow depth (average of 10-20 feet), the Sea of Abaco provides one of the calmest, safest cruising destinations in the world.

Once you arrive, Treasure Cay Marina boasts a modern, 150-slip marina, one of the nicest and largest marina facilities in the Bahamas-Out-Islands.  The Marina also offers diesel and gas fuel, a marina & grocery store, laundry & shower facilities, scuba shop, protected anchorage & moorings, and live entertainment on weekends.

THE BEACH
The crystal clear, turquoise & blue waters of the Treasure Cay beach are truly stunning.  Voted “One of the 10 best beaches in the world” by National Geographic, the Treasure Cay beach is a 3.5 mile stretch of the finest, white-powder sand anywhere in the world.

Come relax on this uncrowned piece of paradise.  The refreshing trade-winds and calming sound of waves lapping on the seashore can only be scribed as sublime.

GOLF COURSE

The Treasure Cay Golf Club was voted by Golf Digest to be the “best golf course in the Bahamas,” and was designed by Dick Wilson.

At 6,985 yards from blue tees and with 66 strategically placed bunkers, this golf course presents a formidable challenge.  With ocean winds, tight fairways and a layout that makes you ponder every club selection, even seasoned golfers will enjoy this course.

The best part about this course – no tee times!  In fact, if you tee off after 10:30am, you might not see another group.
